Welcome to CTAC!
The Clinical Trials Audit and Compliance (CTAC) department is an Emory University Trustee established department reporting to the Executive Vice President for Health Affairs and Vice President for Research for Woodruff Health Science Center.
Our goal is to be a value-based program that will ensure subject safety, foster continuous quality improvement, and ensure high quality research in accordance with ethical principles, federal regulations and Institutional policies. To accomplish our mission, our team reviews a sample of clinical trials being conducted in each department and provides education, tools, and corrective and preventive action plans, when needed.
We also review all clinical trial monitoring reports to help us define areas of risk to human subjects, Emory researchers, and the integrity of the clinical trial data. This review also assists us in the development of educational initiatives.
